I don't think I've ever been this bored watching One Punch Man. I spent most of Season 2 with my eyes half closed, fighting to stay awake as I couldn't care less about the hero politics and drama. Garou was the one exception, as he's actually pretty cool and gets some badass moments toward the end, although his backstory, intentions, and motivations aren't explained well enough until far too late. Saitama is also nowhere to be found this season, only showing up at the last desperate second while the focus shifts to characters I never found particularly interesting. Watching Summer Time Rendering was such an anxiety-inducing experience that I genuinely wasn't sure how I felt about it until it was over. Once I could finally step back and reflect, though, I realised just how much I loved it. The mystery completely hooked me, the twists constantly caught me off guard, and every loop kept me invested. At the same time, the story could be incredibly frustrating, especially with Shinpei repeatedly falling into traps and getting outplayed by Shide and Haine. The time-loop mechanics and Shadow powers also became unnecessarily convoluted, creating several plot holes and making the story feel messier than it needed

Season 2 completely shifts the tone from the first, moving away from much of the comedy and banter in favour of a far more personal and emotionally heavy story. The huge improvement in art and animation is immediately noticeable, with the series looking much more polished and expressive. Yui and the rest of the cast are also given much more to do, allowing several characters to develop beyond their original roles. Meanwhile, the Service Club's dynamic slowly starts falling apart, with their sanctuary turning into a cage as the trio traps themselves in the same kind of superficial relationships they once rejected.

I didn't expect to enjoy Tamon's B-Side this much. It's ridiculously funny, genuinely wholesome, and one of the most refreshing romances I've watched in a while. Utage is basically the perfect waifu, and her devotion to Tamon is so pure that I couldn't help but adore her. Tamon is almost the complete opposite, with his gloomy, self-deprecating personality being painfully relatable, and their chemistry never stopped making me laugh. I also loved F/ACE as a whole, especially the contrast between their public personas and who they really are. The movie delivers the satisfying conclusion I wanted from the series, but getting there is a bit of a mess. The constant jumping back and forth across the same three-day festival makes the middle disjointed and unnecessarily difficult to follow, while a lot of the festival content feels like fluff. Thankfully, the payoff is absolutely worth it. Seeing Fuutarou make a definitive choice and follow through to the wedding gives the series the closure that many harem stories never manage to deliver. I wouldn't call Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister bad, but it was definitely a struggle to get through all 24 episodes. Thankfully, the girls carry most of the charm, with Yae easily being my favourite since her relationship feels naturally connected to her backstory. Asahi and Yuna are hilarious and adorable too, although their romances don't have quite the same emotional impact. Uryu has some funny moments, especially with his nosebleeds, while the supernatural elements help keep things from getting stale. This was a surprisingly bittersweet chapter of Sound! Euphonium, and I can understand why the second year wasn't given the same amount of time as the first. Unfortunately, cramming so much of Kumiko's second year into a single movie makes the story feel rushed, and I really missed the character drama that made the first two seasons so engaging. Kumiko and Reina's relationship also feels noticeably sidelined, while I still miss Asuka dearly. To Be Hero X has a genuinely interesting concept, where a hero's powers are shaped by the faith and expectations of their fans. The animation is absolutely godly, and each hero gets a few episodes to tell an often emotional and touching story. Unfortunately, the way these stories are presented makes the series incredibly convoluted and disjointed. Liz and the Blue Bird is a beautifully directed film, with its use of music almost perfectly conveying the characters' emotions. There is always a sense of something deeper beneath the surface, leaving you wondering whether it's a love story, a breakup, or a story about finding oneself. This series may look like a standard harem romance, but its heartfelt writing and charming characters give it much more emotional depth than expected. Yuu’s kindness and sincerity make him an incredibly lovable protagonist, as he becomes an emotional anchor for each sister rather than just a romantic interest. Watching him slowly break through their fiercely independent and guarded personalities, helping them overcome their struggles and open up emotionally, was truly heartwarming. The pacing gives each sister the time and care to develop, and seeing them grow closer and become a true family was one of the most rewarding parts of the series.
