Manga that was released to coincide with games originally produced for the first Sony PlayStation (1994-2006).

There are Dino Crisis, Biohazard/Resident Evil, Spyro the Dragon, and some other manga/manhwa I'm probably forgetting that is pending approval on MAL. I'll come back and add them when they are available. Leave me a comment or message if I missed anything!

Manga with a Shibuya Punk aesthetic. Shibuya Punk is a style borne out of Shibuya street culture of the late 1990s-early 2000s and was popularized by the 2000 game Jet Set Radio. Works in this style are also referred to as grind fiction. They are usually set in an urban setting with some works set in an exaggerated version of Shibuya itself. Characters are often dressed in clothes like cargo pants, hoodies, chain belts and roller blades. Female characters may wear gyaru-esque makeup. Accessories can include headphones and goggles. The stories have rebellious and anti-authoritarian themes.

In 2018, Devilman Crybaby released, and with it, a "hand" of Devilman influences was published on the series's website. This "hand" is made of titles that have been influenced by Devilman, directly (by virtue of being written by Go Nagai/his assistant/etc) or indirectly (setting, genre, etc). The hand is, of course, nowhere near exhaustive, and this stack contains everything that I could find on MAL (not all of the titles on the hand are anime/manga).

This stack includes titles from the middle finger (works featuring supernatural or extraordinary abilities), the ring finger (works featuring apocalyptic and/or biblical motifs), and the pinky finger (works by Nagai's assistant, Ken Ishikawa).
